Dr Mustapha Abdullahi, the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Commission of Nigeria ECN, felicitates with Nigerians, particularly the Muslim faithfuls both at home and in the diaspora as they celebrate the Muslim festival, Eid-ul-Adha.
Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi, while congratulating his fellow Nigerians, used the opportunity to call on the Muslim Ummah to continue to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and faith as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon Him) and to use the period of celebration to pray for the peace and prosperity of the nation.
The Chief Executive Officer used the opportunity to assure Nigerians that the Renewed Hope Initiative of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is committed to ensuring that Nigerians enjoy improved power supply across the country. He reiterated that the solarization drive of the federal government is poised to ensure that all Nigerians enjoy alternative sources of energy, as no nation can develop effectively without adequate supply of energy to promote growth and sustainable development.
The DG ECN therefore enjoined all to support the programme on solarization as the Federal Government, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to restoring the country back to the path of progress.
He urged all Nigerians to join hands with the government as it continues to reposition the affairs of the nation; a great country and people with its people-oriented reforms and initiatives.
